INFORMATION REGARDING FICTITIOUS NAMES! Fictitious Name Renewals can now be filed on-line. Effective July 1, 2009, the intention to register a fictitious name must be advertised at least once in a newspaper in the county in which the principal place of business will be located. Contact your newspaper for advertising information.
CONSUMER ALERT! Please be aware that e-mail messages are being sent by "Florida Online Corporate Annual Report Filings" to businesses "inviting" each to file the 2010 Annual Report from its website. Their messages are confusingly similar to the official message sent by the Division of Corporations. Do not be misled by these messages. Make sure you are on the Department of State, Division of Corporations website when you file the 2010 Annual Report.
